MedPass is a yearly healthcare subscription that makes doctor visits and essential tests simple and affordable for families. Instead of paying every time you consult a doctor or need a test, MedPass brings it all under one annual plan.
Why was MedPass created? +
MedPass was designed to remove cost anxiety around healthcare. When people do not worry about bills, they are more likely to visit doctors early, monitor their health regularly, and take preventive care seriously.
How is MedPass different from regular healthcare? +
MedPass follows a patient first approach. Doctors work on fixed salaries, not commissions, so medical decisions are based only on what is clinically right for the patient.
What kind of care experience does MedPass offer? +
MedPass focuses on a smooth, hassle free experience. There are no hidden charges, no billing surprises, and minimal paperwork. Members can walk in, consult, get tested, and leave without friction.
Does MedPass support preventive care? +
Yes. By removing cost barriers, MedPass encourages regular checkups and early diagnosis instead of waiting until health issues become serious.
How does MedPass ensure quality care? +
Doctors are not rushed or pressured to over prescribe. Consultations are designed to give adequate time, usually around 10 to 15 minutes per visit, supported by integrated electronic health records for continuity of care.
Are doctor consultations unlimited? +
Yes. You can consult doctors as many times as needed during your active membership without paying per visit.
Can I consult specialists as well? +
Yes. If your condition requires specialist care, you can consult specialists available within the MedPass network.
Can I choose which doctor to consult? +
Yes. Members can consult any available doctor at MedPass affiliated facilities.
Which diagnostic tests are included? +
All diagnostic tests prescribed by MedPass doctors are included at no additional cost. This covers routine blood tests and other essential diagnostics.
Are there conditions for test coverage? +
Yes. Tests are covered only when prescribed during an active consultation, as part of an ongoing treatment plan, and when recommended follow up care is completed at MedPass facilities.
Are MRI, CT, or PET scans covered? +
Advanced imaging tests are included only when specific conditions are met. These include having an active membership for at least 30 days, documented medical necessity, at least one prior consultation, and a follow up visit within 14 days of receiving results.
How much does MedPass cost? +
MedPass costs ₹999 per year.
Who does one MedPass cover? +
One MedPass covers up to four family members. For larger families, additional options can be discussed with the enrollment team.
How long is the membership valid? +
The membership is valid for 365 days from the date of enrollment and can be renewed every year at the same price.
Which services are not included under MedPass? +
MedPass does not cover emergency services, surgeries, medical procedures, hospital admissions, physiotherapy, medicines, or packaged health checkups.
Are any diagnostic tests excluded? +
Yes. Specialized tests such as autoimmune tests, cancer screening beyond MedUnited screening kits, prenatal tests, nutrigenomic, whole genome, epigenetic, microbiome, genetic and molecular tests, lifestyle panels, cosmetic tests, allergy tests, and vitamin tests without a specific medical condition are not covered.
Are services available everywhere?+
No. Services are limited to what is available within MedUnited infrastructure.
Are there any hidden charges? +
No. MedPass follows a completely transparent pricing model. If a service is not covered, you are informed clearly before proceeding.
What happens if I need emergency care? +
Emergency services are available at MedUnited facilities, but emergency procedures and treatments are charged separately. Pricing is shared upfront so there are no surprises.
How do I enroll in MedPass? +
You can enroll by visiting a MedPass affiliated facility or by contacting the enrollment team. Basic family details and the annual payment are required.
When does the membership start? +
Your MedPass membership becomes active immediately after enrollment.
