The World Health Day Awareness Walkathon “USE HEART KNOW HEART”
September 27, 2023: The World Health Day Awareness Walkathon “USE HEART KNOW HEART” organized on 26th September 2023, concluded successfully, drawing an unprecedented participation from individuals across all age groups and demographics. The event, hosted in conjunction with World Health Day observances, aimed at highlighting the significance of Heart health and well-being for every individual and community worldwide.
Highlights of the Event:
Broad Participation: Over 300 participants, including health professionals, students, civic leaders, and members of the general public, joined the Walkathon, surpassing initial expectations.
Diverse Representation: Participants hailed from diverse walks of life, ensuring a holistic representation of the community and an inclusive approach to health advocacy.
Information and Resource Booths: Throughout the route, booths were set up, disseminating valuable health information, free check-ups, and offering resources about local health services.
Guest Speakers: R.D.O Shri N.S.V.B Vasantha Rayudu, Konaseema D.S.P Shri M.Ambhikka. Prasad, Cardiologist Dr. Guru Kiran and our M.D Dr. Hari Kiran Varam graced the event, sharing insights on various health topics and the importance of a proactive approach to health.
